Asbestos is a deadly substance and unprofessional removal is not only dangerous but against the law so it is not advised to remove your asbestos fence yourself.
To remove asbestos safely the sheets must not be snapped or broken, this means digging the sheets out individually and wrapping them in black plastic and completely sealing the parcels with tape. Complete and extensive safety equipment must be worn at all times and an exclusion zone must be tapped off from the public. Only ever use a LICENSED contractor who is qualified to remove and dispose of asbestos safely.
